This was a combination of deciding to try out ArtRage and seeing the Wayne Thiebaud exhibit at the Laguna Art Museum today. ArtRage is an awesome program for fun, loose stuff btw. Anyway...I've seen Wayne Thiebaud's work in person before, and I loved it even more this time. His use of color just makes everything look so iridescent. If you happen to live in the Laguna Beach, CA area, I definitely recommend checking out the exhibit. It'll be up until January 27.

Spirit Portrait 6-07 Inks by SaiTenyo

I like the lineart for this so I decided to upload it. Much thanks to Shoomlah for making me aware of the fact that I can ink with ballpoint. I'm not sure why that idea never crossed my mind before. Normally I'd sketch with ballpoint and clean up with pencil...this is much much better/easier/fun.

Did this little piece for a new LJ icon. I've been tweaking how I draw Spirit quite a bit lately. I think this is a design I'm happy with because I think it reflects my own appearance better than the other ones.
